Master Dentists Academy

Why Academy Credentials?

It’s been over a decade since Jack Trout popularized the phrase “differentiate or die.”  Ten years later, analyze businesses with the best margins in most niches and Trout’s “rule” has played out almost uniformly.  The “me too’s” invariably fall behind.

Dentists, may differentiate themselves through superior physical facility, prominent location, extended range of services, or individualized care. However, the majority believe that differentiation is best achieved via attaining superior clinical skill. They fail to realize how difficult it is to communicate this superiority to patients.

Many dentists, have CE certifications, fellowships, diplomate degrees , and board certifications but wonder why patients don’t understand their value. Those credentials are a component of differentiation ONLY when they are revealed to patients as part of a comprehensive case acceptance system.

Members of the Master Dentists Academy agree to bridge that gap by study and practice. They want to master the non-clinical aspects of practice influencing doctor/patient communication to help patients make the best treatment decisions for themselves.

In an effort to provide maximum differentiation for our members, the Academy is proud to announce a credentialing process uniting clinical education with a mastery of communication, management and promotion.

The attainment of credentials is a direct and powerful differentiation tool since fewer than 1% of dentists have any credentials at all.
